Halter-Tying Tips
for the LittleJoe rope halter

Be sure to tie the halter as shown in the diagram above, so that the loop is included in the knot.  This knot will not pull out no matter how hard the horse pulls back, but it can always be untied easily.
 

To make the halter even easier to untie, we usually fasten the 3mm and 4mm halters in a slipknot, as shown in the second drawing.  To untie the knot, just pull on the loose ends.
